Qualitative research conducted by Spark Insight has informed the latest Citizens Advice policy paper on smart energy tariffs
We conducted deliberative workshops and in-depth interviews with domestic and business energy consumers in locations across England and Wales:
we spoke to both those with experience of smart energy tariffs and those without any experience or knowledge of them
our research included people who were disabled, had English as an Additional Language and who were digitally disadvantaged
we developed engaging deliberative materials to enable those who hadn't heard of time-of-use tariffs before to understand them and provide their thoughts on what could make these tariffs work for them
